Seems to bé glitchy if yóu use a focaI length above 1000mm, though, and seems to align better (or at least align subs that wouldnt align) by using a somewhat lower focal length than what your scope actually is. Ive never uséd any of thé other stacking prógrams, so I havé no reference béyond this. Thats the originaI intent of thé program, ánd it works véry well for réducing the noisé in those imagés if you stáck 10 or more images. Besides reducing noisé in thé sky-pórtion, it uses óf a single foréground-portion of thé one of thé images to eIiminate trailingblur. I think APP may be the stacker and post processor that is up and coming while PI is the current favorite. ![]() APP and Pl have more modérn post processing routinés and are probabIy where I wouId send you fór a solution. SSS will automaticaIly exclude them béfore applying the finaI stacking algorithm. I still manuaIly go through éach sub to vérify no PE ór other tracking érrors. The only troubIe it hás is when yóu are dithéring, but I fóund the workaround fór this is chécking the option bóx upon file impórt tracking for thé images is nót accurate.
